Thanks for the comment, John. It became very clear to me doing this research that there is not a shred of valid evidence to support the stolen election claim, that Trump has known this all along, and has been simply lying all along, or in denial. Either way, his supporters should know the shameful way he has treated them on this topic. Definitely NOT presidential.
Completely agree with your analysis, Ed. Unfortunately, a huge percentage of the US population continues to support the Orange Monster. I am not anti-conservative, despite being a liberal Berkeley guy. The term "conservative" should not be applied to his supporters or to him.
Thanks for the comment, Dave. Like you, I am not anti-conservative and look first at the candidate then their policies, etc. It became clear to me as I worked through my background investigation that there was simply NO data that supported that the 2020 election was stolen. Trump can't even offer anything specific! And even those organizations and people that I would expect to be more supportive of his claim, were not.
Trump is simply lying or deceiving himself. Like Bill Barr, I believe Trump knows he lost the election, and just doesn't care or refuses to believe it. In either case, he should not be President.
It is shameful the way he manipulates his loyal followers by telling them lies that they will accept out of allegiance to him, and I hope they find this out before it is too late. That is part of why, in my own way, I hope this analysis helps some folks to see the truth about him and see that he really did lose the 2020 election. I didn't realize the depth of his dysfunction until I did this detailed analysis. It is truly sad and I hope they start to see him for the huckster he is.
I did come out of this, however, gratified that many of the more conservative organizations clearly supported the Constitution and election integrity before they supported him. We may disagree on policies, but underneath it all I have always believed that we are first Americans and must support the Constitution. Again, he fails that character test as well. Be well. Peace.
Excellent! Your thesis is well researched logical, and conclusive. I just hope it changes some minds in the Deniers ranks.
Thanks for posting this Ed!
